Missoula
Children’s Theatre presents – The Princess
and the Pea
Envision
a kingdom of snow where the residents are Winter Wind
Workers, Blizzard Bringers, Icicle Sharpeners and Snow
Smoothers, ruled by the Storm King and the Snow Queen.
Add to that a Prince looking for a proper Princess to
share the throne. Now imagine the Princess and her friend
the Pea living in a kingdom of green rolling hills and
running rivers with her subjects, The Flower Gardeners,
River Runners, Green Shoot Growers and Tree Barkers. Her
parents, King Size and Queen Size, do all they can to
keep things running smoothly. Who knows, maybe the dancing
Dust Bunnies can help? Although the two kingdoms think
they have nothing in common, (except maybe a pesky Jack
Frost that freezes anything and everything), the peace-loving
Leprechauns prove otherwise. Throw in some Phony Princesses
and you have a real fiasco! This ain’t your grandma’s
PRINCESS AND THE PEA. We think you will enjoy its twists
and turns.

Gregg
Goldston
October 3rd , 2009 at 7:00 pm
Estevan Comprehensive School Cafetorium
An
evening of MIME that is louder than words, Gregg Goldston
will present an introduction to the art of mime performed
with technical virtuosity, lyricism and audience participation.
Gregg’s 30 year career as a mime artist has taken
him across the US, Europe and Asia. A student of Marcel
Marceau, Gregg ultimately became a performing partner
of the great French master. Goldston is also an experienced
teacher and director in his own right, as the founder
of the Goldston and Johnson School of Mimes which recently
celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Gregg Goldston is a mime’s mime. The audience will
be amazed and amused as he brings to life the Derby Hat
with a mind of its own and which refuses to stay put.
"He combines a dancer’s grace and control with
a silent comedian’s timing to create terrifying,
hilarious images." -THE CHICAGO READER

Chuck
& Albert
March 19, 2010 at 7:00
pm
Westview School 1607 2nd Street
Acadian
music, dance, and high energy comedy from Prince Edward
Island. Tapping feet. Fiddle music. Quick-witted comedy.
Acadian culture takes centre stage when Chuck and Albert
perform. The duo makes heritage come alive through high-energy
music, dance and skits. Physical comedy is another love
of the duo as well as that of the Acadian people of PEI.
Albert and Chuck are quite gifted at drawing on one of
the oldest forms of entertainment, laughter, to hop over
any language barrier and their penchant for humour is
a natural extension of their Acadian background. Audiences
everywhere have come to treasure and expect this in their
performances. It is in this spirit that Chuck and Albert
skillfully and tastefully carry to the concert stage vibrant
characters, stories and traditions of their shared heritage.
The pair are multi-instrumentalists and consummate showmen.
Fluently bilingual, they offer up clever banter in English
or French by way of explaining the unique charm inherent
in their material. They have played to standing ovations
both at home, across the country and overseas.
